Willow Trug Workshop. 26th October 2025, 9.30 to 16.30

Venue: The Old Girls’ School, 18 Kirkgate, Sherburn in Elmet LS25 6BL

Suitable for beginners. During this willow basket workshop you will make a beautiful willow trug, these baskets can be used for veg, flowers, as a fruit bowl, or indeed as any kind of carrying basket; you will learn the basics of square basketry work (even though its a rectangular basket) and have a full and rewarding day making your basket to go home with.

This workshop is suitable for people looking to have a go at willow basketry or to improve their willow skills, it is not suitable for people with arthritis in their hands.
