Willow Trug Workshop, 22nd October 2023, 9.30 to 16.30

Venue: The Old Girls’ School, 18 Kirkgate, Sherburn in Elmet LS25 6BL

Suitable for beginners. During this willow you will make a beautiful Willow trug, trugs are suitable for carrying flowers or fruit and veg and are a shallow flat basket. You will learn traditional basketry technique’s that have been passed down over the ages and will finish with a beautiful and practical basket.

This workshop is suitable for people looking to have a go at willow basketry or to improve their willow skills, it is not suitable for people with arthritis in their hands.
