Willow Handbag Workshop, 29th October 2023, 09.30 to 16.30

Venue: The Old Girls’ School, 18 Kirkgate, Sherburn in Elmet LS25 6BL

Suitable for beginners. You will make a lovely willow handbag basket, they are ideal for packed lunches, peg baskets or a small amount of local shopping etc.

They have a leather handle and you will be able to choose from red or blue cane to run a thread of colour through it. You will finish it in the day and have learnt a bit about an ancient craft.

This workshop is suitable for people looking to have a go at willow sculpture or to improve their willow skills, it is not suitable for people with arthritis in their hands.
