Sherburn & Villages Community Library is a natural place for people to meet up as it is a welcoming, warm, safe space with comfy seats where people can read newspapers, magazines or books, work on jigsaws, play board games or just chat with other local people. The library will be offering free hot drinks and biscuits to all visitors over the winter period.

Everyone is welcome to visit the library during normal opening hours. Plus, the library will now open on Wednesdays; although usual library services will not be available a warm welcome in a comfortable environment will be.

We plan to offer a series of free Wednesday activities and events, such as crafting sessions, talks, exercise classes, and health & well-being sessions.
