Non-writers / shy people / ages 18+ welcome 

A writer’s group for non-writers? How is that possible? Because you don’t have to be a writer to join our group. If you’re interested in storytelling, want to learn something new or simply ‘have a go’ then why not come along? It’s friendly and free. No need to book. 

We are a group of writers, poets, actors, artists and other arty types who come together once a month, to write, share and support each other’s work. We meet on the first Wednesday of every month, from 7 – 9pm – at Sherburn & Villages Community Library, a safe space in which to increase skill, confidence and a sense of wellbeing. Bring coins to buy a hot drink. 

We all use words, every day, so why not use them to create something wonderful?
