Sherburn Heritage Walk, Sunday 21st April, 10am.
A leisurely, circular walk during which the Chair of Sherburn History Society will share their knowledge of local landmarks and heritage.
This is a free, volunteer-led circular walk of less than two miles – starting/ending from The Old Girls’ School Community Centre, Sherburn. Allow up to two hours.
The route is primarily on roadside pavements though does include a some uphill gradient and some soft/uneven ground – please email Alison Marshall (Outreach & Partnership Officer) if you require further information – alison.marshall@siect.uk
Light refreshments will be provided at the end of the walk.
Walk starts at The Old Girls’ School Community Centre, 18 Kirkgate, Sherburn in Elmet LS25 6BL. Small car park at rear or on-street, and cycle parking available. Toilet available. On-site Tearoom.
