Thursday Luncheon Club

The Luncheon Club is held every Thursday at the Methodist Church in Sherburn in Elmet from 10:00 for tea/coffee and a chat before lunch is served at 12:00. The lunch consists of a main course, pudding and a tea or coffee. The meat is cooked by the local butcher, Starkeys. Our volunteers prepare and cook the remainder of the meal in the Methodist Church’s kitchen.

The maximum number of people who can attend the Luncheon Club is 25. When places become available, they are allocated on a needs basis with the understanding you will attend every week.

For those who are unable to get to the chapel, the community minibus will pick up residents from home and drop them off after the meal. The cost of the minibus is £1.70.

How to Book
The cost of the meal is £5.00, coffee and biscuits before the meal are £1.00 and tea is .80p. If you would like to book a place at the Thursday Luncheon Club, please call the office on 01977 681 828.
