Once a child is 4 years old and is due to start a full-time Reception class in September, they are able to join our level 1 session. As before, this is a natural progression on from the pre-school programme. The main similarities would be: gymnasts are now developing their fine and gross motor skills through gymnastic-specific skills, rather than generally; gymnasts will begin to learn the technical vocabulary associated with different shapes and equipment that they may not have understood in a pre-school class and finally, a gymnast will develop personal characteristics and skills including listening and following instructions. The main difference is the structure of the session – it would be a little more structured and allow the gymnast to fully explore each piece of equipment to learn the skill to the best of their ability.

This session is recommended for children who are 4 years old and started school.

The Level 1 session cost £5.00 per session for the first two sessions then £25.00 per month.

• Thursday – 5.00pm – 6.00pm
•  Friday – 5.00pm -6.00pm
• Saturday – 9.00am – 10.00am
