The Town Council will be holding an event on the evening of the 6th June from 7pm at the White Rose Social Club to commemorate the D Day 80th anniversary.

It starts from 7pm and will involve some historical displays, a wartime singalong, food/drinks and will also have Caroline Corner Stone saying a few words and a bugle player playing the last post just ahead of the lighting of the beacon at 9.15 to conclude the evening. (40’s vintage wear encouraged)
